The inlay too went through our scrutiny and we decided to make some changes while retaining many elements. First Page The heart now on the front cover, we decided to put the image of the artist on the first page of the inlay, a convention in digipaks. We retained the background and its texture, framing the image of the artist. Mahnoor then edited the background of the image, using the magic wand tool to select the background, copying that layer. colouring it black and then placing it on top of the original image.  She then another texture picked up from the website Transparent Textures. The next step was to add the copy rights and the transparent versions of the logos on the bottom of the page as they were before (see Digipak: Inlay (First Draft)). Next Mahnoor, used her drawing tablet and a size 3 PS brush to make the artist's signature and to write the quote. Once we were done with the first draft, we gathered once more to review the digipak as a team along with our Media Sir. We decided that though the painting was a good aspect to build a brand off of, it did not have as much screen time or relevance for us to justify designing the entire digipak off of it. Instead we decided to use a more pop artish modern feel to the digipak. We retained major elements of the digipak but greatly transformed what it looks like. Front Cover The pixelated heart and the pixelated theme in general plays a huge role in our music video. This added with the fact that both pop art and minimalism is quite in with indie artists, we decided to convert the first inlay page into the front cover. We also felt it was important to have the background be black as that was the colour where her creativity hits her full force as well as the manifestations of her various emotional states. The next step was to design the inlay of the digipak. We manged to significantly follow our planning throughout the design of the inlay especially. I started off by designing the first page of the inlay, opening a new file on Photoshop (Ctrl + O) and inputting the same dimensions (5.45 inches width and 4.95 inches height) as the back and front cover for standardisation and coloured the file black, as that was to be the background colour of the first inlay page. We chose this colour since the key element to go on the page, a pixelated heart, we felt, would stand out best against black, part of the colour scheme. Next, I used the text tool to write our names (the creators of the album and SAD productions) on top of the file. I used the font Bebas Neue, taken from the website DaFonts. After putting down a rough placement of all the footage we were going to use in the Music video (on the timeline). The next step included the synchronization of the video with the audio. Our music video had the use of both diegetic (Sound Effects) and Non diegetic (Music) sounds. Mahnoor used the method of syncing sound in a orderly fashion as she went further down the audio. Certain Audio cues were linked up on time with their visual cues. The first thing she started was the construction of the opening diegetic scene which included several telephones. As the telephone visuals progressed the multiple ringings of telephones increased in intensity. Mahnoor achieved this by over lapping several ringing sounds in a certain order (so they still have some form of clarity when ringing and its not a loud jumbled mess of sound).
